Potential Tropical Storm Bonnie to Make Landfall in the Caribbean

Parts of the Caribbean have received tropical storm warnings in advance of what is anticipated to become the next named storm, namely Bonnie, in the Atlantic.

This storm has a good chance of developing. Since there is no wind shear in this region, the storm has a better chance of surviving. This storm is probably going to get stronger.

Currently, the NHC predicts that this system will become our next tropical system and has 70% probability within the next 48 hours and 90% probability within the next five days.

Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, northern Colombia, and northern Venezuela are likely to be affected by the storm. Bands of potentially flooding rains and high wind gusts from this system should pass through these locations over the course of the following several days.
