Since Sunday, severe storms with snow and rain have hit the US, impacting both the Northeast Coast and the Pacific Northwest. In New England, a significant snowstorm is currently in progress, accumulating several inches of snow. This weather event is blanketing areas ranging from the Adirondacks in New York to the White Mountains of New Hampshire and Maine. Northern New England is particularly affected, with snow accumulation expected to be between 6 to 12 inches.

Winter weather alerts remain active across Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine, with the snowfall predicted to diminish by Monday afternoon. The Pacific Northwest is bracing for a series of storms, with flood watches in Seattle and Portland, Oregon. An additional 3 to 6 inches of rain is expected in western Washington and Oregon.

Winter storm warnings are in place for Jackson, Wyoming; Park City, Utah; and Aspen, Colorado, with 6 to 12 inches of snow forecast for parts of the Northwest and Rocky Mountains through Wednesday. High wind warnings are also in effect from Montana to Colorado, where wind gusts could potentially reach 60 mph.
