Automation Lead

Experience: 5-7 Years

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to join our product engineering team. This role focuses on building and maintaining automation solutions for MCP (Model Context Protocol)-based systems and modern web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in UI automation using Playwright or Selenium and a solid understanding of automation framework design.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automation test suites for systems built on Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Automate UI workflows for web applications using Playwright.

Validate MCP integrations, context flows, and protocol-level behaviors through automated tests.

Build and enhance scalable, maintainable automation frameworks.

Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and platform teams to understand MCP-driven workflows.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality.

Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues.

Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, and integration scenarios.

Required Skills & Experience:

5-7 years of experience in software test automation.

Strong hands-on experience with UI automation using Playwright.

Experience testing protocol-driven or platform-based systems (preferably MCP or similar architectures).

Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript (preferred) or Java / Python.

Experience designing automation frameworks (POM, data-driven, keyword-driven).

Solid understanding of API testing, context-based systems, and distributed architectures.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Understanding of LLM-based systems, context management, or AI-driven platforms.

Experience testing microservices or event-driven systems.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS)

Knowledge of Docker and containerized test environments.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum product teams.
