EF2 Tornado Strikes Harris County, Texas, Damaging Over 100 Homes
A powerful tornado tore through Harris County, Texas, on Monday, 24th November, leaving a trail of destruction across the Houston area. Officials confirmed that more than 100 homes sustained significant damage, with rooftops ripped off and debris scattered across neighborhoods.
The storm also caused widespread power outages, affecting over 2,000 residents. The National Weather Service issued multiple tornado warnings as warm, humid conditions collided with a cold front, creating supercell thunderstorms. NWS also warned that tornadoes, hail up to 2 inches in diameter, and wind gusts up to 70 mph will be possible on Tuesday. A tornado and hail watch remained in effect until early Tuesday as cleanup efforts began.
