EigenRisk adds Vexcel Data Program’s Aerial Imagery to its Global Catastrophe Risk Management Platform
ANN ARBOR, MI, August 12, 2024 – EigenRisk® today announced a new agreement with Vexcel Data Program/Geospatial Insurance Consortium (GIC) that will make Vexcel Data Program’s high-resolution aerial imagery and AI-enabled damage assessments available through the EigenPrism® catastrophe risk management platform.
The large number of natural catastrophes occurring throughout the U.S. and in many areas of the world has the insurance community looking for robust ways to enhance their underwriting, disaster planning and claims response. Vexcel Data Program’s aerial imagery currently covers more than 40 countries and is widely used for property underwriting and claims response to the full spectrum of disaster events, including hurricanes and tropical storms, floods, wildfires, earthquakes, tornadoes, hailstorms, and other severe convective storms.
