Tropical Depression Mindy Causing Heavy Rainfall in Georgia and South Carolina
According to National Hurricane Center (NHC), Tropical Storm Mindy made landfall in Florida’s Panhandle (St. Vincent Island) on Wednesday evening, bringing strong wind and rain to the region. Tropical storm warnings were triggered for parts of north Florida overnight as the storm made its way across the northern peninsula.
Mindy has now turned into a depression with maximum sustained winds of 35 mph and continues to track Northeastward. It is expected to become a remnant low in about 48 hours and then dissipate by day 3.
